Dishonest company, they will make promises on order status and delivery dates are inaccurate. Good luck getting through to customer service, where after sitting on hold for an hour you will be met with unacceptable policies thrown in your face.

And once they have your money, they are never giving it back.

No one ever calls you back, no escalation paths, and they frankly don't care. Fraud and a scam, STAY AWAY!

We paid $1529.11 for a Baudouin Weather Oak King Upholstered Panel Bed, and it arrived so badly damaged that they couldn't even assemble it. We immediately returned it, and they refunded us only $642.74.

That means that our experience with 1stopbedrooms cost us $887.37.

There is a 15% restocking fee, plus return shipping fees of $1.75 per pound.

Be aware that this return policy apparently applies EVEN IF THE FURNITURE IS BADLY DAMAGED. It's not just if you change your mind or something.

1stopbedroom did not dispute how badly damaged the bed was, neither the delivery people, nor customer service. They did offer a replacement, but we weren't in a position to accept that.

Here's the breakdown directly from them:

Total Amount Paid: $1529.11

Return Shipping Fee: (148 lbs x $1.75)= $259.00

Restocking Fee 15%: $229.37

Total Refund: $1040.74

The refund took 11 weeks, and still came up short of that quote:

Actual Refund: $642.74

Unknown Fee: $398.00 (They never explained this)

Total Cost to us: $887.37

This was especially heartbreaking to us because it was a generous wedding gift from my parents.

They worked hard for that money and really wanted us to be happy, and now we're so embarrassed.

Carefully review their return policy, and be aware of this risk. Even if the furniture arrives badly damaged, don't expect a full refund!

I ordered a $4k bedroom set. Due to covid it's been delayed which I completely understand.

I tried to swap out 2 of the 4 items and asked for a price match so that my end total was similar to what I was already paying... I requested these swapped items 6 times (3 via phone and 3 via email). A month later it was still incorrect and in frustration I said cancel my entire order thinking I would reorder it correctly. I received my cancellation request with a $1756 restocking fee!!!!!

For items that were not and are not in stock!!!!! Never delivered, never shipped... Just keeping $1756 of my money.

I've tried to contact the company 10 times and nobody answers the phone or if they do they immediately put me on hold again... This is fraud and is unacceptable...

I called the company and placed an order for a sofa and coffee table set on August 1, 2021, and I was told that my order will be delivered before the end of August. When I realized the date kept changing, I called 1StopBedrooms on August 25th and cancelled the order.

I asked the sales rep, if I have to do anything, and she told me that the order was cancelled, and I don't have anything to worry about. My understanding from that conversation that everything was good. Fast-forward to November 7, 2021, I received a call from the company that the ordered is ready to ship, and I need to provide them with a delivery date. I told them that I had cancelled the order on August 25th and I don't understand why the order is still being delivered.

The person from the shipping company said that 1StopBedrooms never cancelled my order in the system. After I called the company complaining, they told me that they will investigate, and they never called me back.

A week later, I received an email on November 15th letting me know that I owed the company a 15% restock fee plus $1.75 per pound of my order. This company is a fraud, and they are scamming customers and trying to make them pay for items they cancelled timely or making you pay for an order they never received.

Your company (Salesman "Mike") fast talked a Disabled Citizen, with multiple diagnoses, in order to generate profits, and while representing 1StopBedrooms ability to adequately deliver pre-paid new furniture to her West Palm Beach Florida apartment. A Company Representative "Joan P" has justified the non delivery of the paid order, as the customer's neglect, and informed her via an email that 1StopBedrooms will only refund her, $1,478.76 of the $4,696.08 that she paid, in full for the bedroom furniture listed on invoice/order # 893****.

Ordered from them once before and received quickly as advertised. So I went with them again to furnish another room.

This has turned into a nightmare.

So far my order has been pending for 17months. First they lose half of the order in their wherehouse.

Next they claim it was received but they had to send it back because of damage (how would they know if it was unopened?

)

Then the pandemic hit, so its being used as a forever excuse.

I ask for a refund, and they charge restocking fees that subtracts over 2/3 of the order.

Only thing they actually physically received was a mattress and nightstand, smh.

I think now they are scamming and not completing orders so that they can charge for nothing. Be careful ordering from this site

Delivery estimate genuine around 3 weeks, but expanding, now 3 moths and not even try to make it better.

In estimates there was about 2weeks transport latest to Jacksonville Florida transfer center having arriving day 6-13 Sep = 1 month ago... so these people do not even try to do any better. There's no excuses on Covid why do not want to carry product even isnide of us few hundred miles.

This comppanyy is complete joke - 5 stars on website LOL ...just hit mine there but ofcourse do not even see - CHEATERS

Called in Mid August to fine out, Customer Service Guy was very rude. i was also told they will charge me $600 if i cancel. I was also told to expect the bed in early Sept. Right now estimated delivery of my order is Nov.

Purchased a dresser more than 8 months ago and when it finally came it had numerous damages from broken drawer to scratches. Delivery men were in a rush and told us to sign and contact the seller Monday (orders come Saturday) Great tactic. They took the dresser because we wouldn't sign until we reviewed policy and now I want refund but wont give.

It took 3 months to get a call that my dining set would finally be shipped. I paid for in home delivery which meant that they would bring it in to the first dry room of my home.

The delivery lady said that they couldnt deliver it inside my home. They had to leave my dining set outside. That was not ok to me so when I tried to cancel since they broke our contract, they tried to charge me over $500 to cancel. This is the most shady, horrific company I have EVER had to deal with.

Please listen to me when I say look at the BBB before you buy. All those complaints.

I am contacting the attorney generals office. Good luck finding someone in customer service here to help.
